Job summary

Altium Limited, a part of the Renesas Group, is seeking a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and operate AWS infrastructure, automate deployments, and enhance day-to-day operations. You will work with Terraform, Kubernetes (EKS), and CI/CD tools to drive reliability and scalability across production and non-production environments.

The role is hands-on, requires strong Linux skills, and a proactive mindset for incident response and on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure experience.
• Strong AWS experience, including core services: EC2, EKS, ECS, RDS, S3, Route 53, VPC networking.
• Strong Terraform experience.
• Strong knowledge of K8s fundamentals (networking, workloads, ingress, scaling, troubleshooting).
• Experience with CI/CD systems: Jenkins / GitLab CI (or equivalent).
• Solid Linux skills; Windows experience is a plus.

About the Role

We are hiring a Cloud DevOps Engineer to build and operate our AWS infrastructure, improve deployment workflows, and automate day-to-day operations. This role is hands‑on, focused on AWS, Terraform, K8s, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure for production and non-production environments.
• Develop and own Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.

• Strong AWS networking/security experience (Transit Gateway, VPC peering, routing, SG/NACL).
• AD/DNS/domain fundamentals.
