Job summary

Ørsted A/S in Warsaw is seeking a specialist to shape and operate our enterprise data warehouse platform during a major migration from Microsoft Azure to AWS. You will combine platform engineering, data warehousing, and optimisation to ensure high-quality, reliable data is available across the organisation and help shape the future cloud data landscape.

You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and product teams, maintain and optimise the warehouse, build and improve data pipelines,

Qualifications

• Experience with data warehousing concepts, platforms and data modelling techniques.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably AWS (Redshift) and related services.
• Ability to design, develop, and support data pipelines and large-scale data workloads.
• Understanding of performance optimisation, monitoring, and operational support in a data platform.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across a large organisation.
• Degree in CS/SE/Data Eng or equivalent.

You’ll be part of the Data Warehouse team where you, together with your colleagues, willmaintainand evolve Ørsted’s enterprise data warehouse platform. The team supports data engineers across theorganisation by providing a reliable, scalable platform, ensuring performance, availability, and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, and product teams while helping drive the migration from Azure to AWS. As a team, we collaborate openly, share knowledge, and support each other in solving complex challenges. You’ll play an important role in:

• maintaining and optimising Ørsted’s enterprise data warehouse platform
• supporting the migration of data warehouse capabilities from Microsoft Azure to AWS

• monitoring platform performance and identifying opportunities for optimisation and cost efficiency

To succeed in the role, you:

• have experience working with data warehousing concepts, platforms, and data modelling techniques
• have worked with cloud-based data platforms, preferably within AWS environments such as Redshift and related services
• can design, develop, and support data pipelines and large-scale data workloads
• understand performance optimisation, monitoring, and operational support within a data platform environment
• can collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and stakeholders across a large organisation
• have completed a degree within computer science, software engineering, data engineering, or equivalent experience
