Job summary

Capgemini in Katowice is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to join a cloud-based project focused on modern data platforms. You will work with large datasets, ensuring data quality, reliability, and performance across the full data lifecycle in a cloud-native setup on Google Cloud Platform.

You will build and maintain data pipelines using Cloud Composer, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage, and help optimize deployment, monitoring, and scalability of data applications while collaborating with

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including: Cloud Composer (Airflow), BigQuery, Cloud Storage.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based architectures and data pipelines.
• Experience working with modern, distributed data systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop data solutions within a cloud-native architecture (GCP).
• Work with and maintain data pipelines and workflows using Cloud Composer (Airflow).
• Manage and optimize storage and processing using Cloud Storage and BigQuery.
• Contribute to improving processes around deployment, monitoring, and scaling of data applications.
• Support troubleshooting and operational maintenance of cloud-based data services.
