Job summary

FedEx in Kraków is seeking a Clearance Broker to work closely with Customs to ensure on-time clearance and delivery. You will handle documentation, communicate with clients, and ensure accurate data entry in appropriate systems to support timely processing of transactions and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with customs entry documentation for shipments.

• Prepare and validate customs paperwork to meet regulatory standards and deadlines.
• Maintain performance in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.

As a Clearance Broker you will work closely with Customs to enable our on-time clearance and delivery. You will ensure checks and processes are completed that result in timely and effective processing of transactions and legal and regulatory compliance. In this position efficient, courteous and professional communication and taking ownership of issues / requirements are key to the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with customs entry documentation- paperwork supplied with the shipment.
• Checking if all customs documentation is completed correctly.
• Contacting clients by email and phone to provide any missing or unclear information necessary to allow customs clearance.
• Ensure the correct identification and accurate input of shipment information into appropriate systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to support the achievement of regulatory and internal compliance standards and to ensure timely clearance.
• Ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced goal orientated environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Fluent in English (C1)
• Team player with a can-do attitude.
