Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Clearance Broker in Kraków to collaborate with Customs for on-time clearance and delivery. You will ensure accurate documentation, data input, and compliant processing while communicating with clients to resolve missing information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customs entry documentation based on shipment paperwork.
• Check that all customs documentation is correct.
• Email clients to provide missing or unclear information for clearance.
• Input shipment information accurately into systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork for compliance and timely clearance.
• Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

As a Clearance Broker you will work closely with Customs to enable our on-time clearance and delivery. You will ensure checks and processes are completed that result in timely and effective processing of transactions and legal and regulatory compliance. In this position efficient, courteous and professional communication and taking ownership of issues / requirements are key to the role.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing customs entry documentation based on paperwork supplied with the shipment.

• Checking if all customs documentation is completed correctly.

• Contacting clients by email to provide any missing or unclear information necessary to allow customs clearance.

• Ensuring the correct identification and accurate input of shipment information into appropriate systems.

• Producing and validating customs data and paperwork to support the achievement of regulatory and internal compliance standards and to ensure timely clearance.

• Ensuring accuracy within a fast-paced goal orientated environment
