Job summary

Balcia, a tech-driven insurance company with European roots, is seeking a motor claims handler in Warsaw for a hybrid role. You will process claims, gather information, and stay compliant with regulations.

Join a fast-moving team with a flat structure, collaborate with loss adjusters and colleagues, and communicate with customers by phone and email. English proficiency is required, and independence and detail orientation are valued.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of motor insurance claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Handle motor insurance claims in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Obtain, collect, and verify accurate information from all parties involved in the incident, as well as from relevant institutions.
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers by phone and email.
• Cooperate with loss adjusters and other external partners.
• Negotiate and conclude settlements, as well as review appeals and complaints.

• Handle motor insurance claims in a timely manner and in compliance with applicable regulations
• Take responsibility for obtaining, collecting, and verifying accurate information from all parties involved in the incident, as well as from relevant institutions
• Maintain ongoing contact with customers by phone and email
• Cooperate with loss adjusters and other external partners
• Negotiate and conclude settlements, as well as review appeals and complaints

To fit here you'll need:

• At least 2 years of experience in handling motor insurance claims
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team
• Independence, punctuality, attention to detail, and excellent work organization
• Communicative level of English
