Purpose of the position

We are looking for a Category Sourcing Lead to manage supplier selection, cost optimization, and contract negotiations. This role is responsible for ensuring supplier performance in quality, delivery, and cost while driving cost reduction initiatives and supporting new product development.

Main tasks and responsibilities
  • Select and manage suppliers to meet business requirements.
  • Drive cost-saving initiatives and supplier optimization.
  • Conduct RFQs, evaluate suppliers, and lead contract negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement processes and sustainability targets.
  • Support new product introduction and cost management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global procurement teams.
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or engineering (Master’s is a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in purchasing or sourcing within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with steel structures is preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and procurement processes.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10%).
