Job Overview
The Marketing Operations Campaign Manager is a master campaign orchestrator who will work with specified business units and segments. This role includes managing the end‑to‑end marketing campaign operations, collaborating and partnering with BU Integrated Marketing leaders to focus on campaign and execution planning, tactical execution, and optimization across multiple channels. You will ensure campaigns are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the overall marketing strategy, while coordinating with shared services teams across marketing operations—digital, content, marketing automation, creative, and events—to drive efficient and effective processes. You will also align marketing campaigns with detailed business objectives, verify that campaign goals, messaging, and target audiences are consistent, and drive campaign effectiveness through performance analysis, A/B testing, and data‑driven recommendations.
Your responsibilities
- Define common campaign structure and elements: Spearhead a consistent framework for marketing campaign structure and elements, ensuring objectives, target audience, positioning, value proposition, and customer journey messaging are clearly defined before planning and execution.
- Document campaign planning and execution lifecycle roles and responsibilities: Document the roles of marketing operations, creative, digital, content, and sales enablement teams, establishing governance so everyone understands responsibilities and can collaborate effectively.
- Coordinate with key functions as they fulfill campaign programs and tactics: Act as the central coordinator, working closely with functions executing demand generation, engagement, and enablement programs.
- Ensure program tactics align with the overall campaign objective: Drive a cohesive and integrated approach to campaign execution.
- POC for questions on campaign priorities, responsibilities, resources, and timing: Provide guidance, resolve issues, and maintain clarity with stakeholders and other departments.
- Measure campaign performance and course‑correct during execution: Partner with marketing operations and analytics teams to measure KPIs such as conversion rates, ROI, engagement, and sales impact, and adjust strategies in real time.
- Drive continuous performance improvement: Identify, document, and implement best practices for ongoing optimization.
- Coordinate campaign program and budget reviews: Work with stakeholders to ensure budgets are utilized effectively and resources are allocated efficiently.
What your background should look like
- 5‑7+ years of marketing experience across multiple roles, including marketing operations, digital marketing, marketing planning, and tactic execution.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing required, MBA preferred.
- Knowledge of audience and experience planning and the ability to implement reputation, demand generation, customer engagement, and enablement programs.
- Experience working across multiple business units and directing shared services teams.
- Strong analytical ability and demonstrated proficiency in managing analytics work of others.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal and team‑building skills, with the ability to influence change across functional and business boundaries.
- Proven ability to collaborate with executives and functional leaders in a complex, global business environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset and ability to develop and implement best practices.
- Knowledge of B2B marketing best practices, campaign and messaging frameworks (Forrester/SiriusDecisions) is a plus.
- Strong and clear communication skills; self‑starter with unquestionable integrity.
- Ability to work globally and in non‑traditional hours; travel up to 20% globally and domestically.
