Job summary

DXC Luxoft is seeking a skilled desktop developer to contribute to a large, clinical-focused Core software within a cross-functional Scrum team. You will implement new features, refactor existing components, and ensure robust, maintainable desktop applications using C++ and Qt/QML.

The role requires strong GUI development experience, openness to collaboration with UX analysts, and willingness to travel to Belgium on a regular basis. Fluency in English is essential for daily communication.

Qualifications

Master degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years of desktop C++/Qt/QML development.
Experience building user-facing desktop frontends in large frameworks.
Strong C++ and Qt/QML desktop GUI knowledge (widgets, layouts, event handling).
Experience with multi-window UIs, dialogs, data models.
English fluency (spoken and written).
Willingness to travel to Belgium.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Scrum team to implement functionality within the client’s software suite.
Participate in Scrum planning and analyze work to be done.
Write new functionality or refactor code based on specifications.
Work with other developers and a UX analyst.
Discuss technical design with senior engineers as needed.
Write unit tests for new features and perform code reviews.
Report progress daily and focus on bug fixes as required.
