Veeam is seeking a C++ Developer to join the team working on a file storage system backups solution. You will develop high-performance software for Windows and Linux, focusing on the core engine in C++17 while contributing to Go components.

Responsabilités

• Develop high-performance, cross-platform software for Windows and Linux as part of a universal hybrid-cloud platform, primarily using C++ for the core engine while also contributing to Go development.
• Create sophisticated algorithms considering performance, scalability, security, fault tolerance, upgrade, maintenance.
• Develop multithreaded applications for efficient data processing within a limited backup window interval, including compression, encryption, and transfer of large data volumes.
• Perform troubleshooting and bug fixing: log diving, examining dumps, and analyzing network traffic to identify root causes.

About the Role

We are now looking for a C++ Developer to join the team working on the solution for file storage system backups.

What You’ll Do

• Develop high-performance, cross-platform software for Windows and Linux as part of a universal hybrid-cloud platform, primarily using C++ for the core engine while also contributing to Go development
• Create sophisticated algorithms considering a variety of requirements: performance, scalability, security, fault tolerance, upgrade, maintenance
• Develop multithreaded applications for efficient data processing within a limited backup window interval, including compression, encryption, and transfer of large data volumes
• Perform troubleshooting and bug fixing: do some log diving, examine process dumps, search network traffic dumps for the problem root cause
