Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced business and system analyst for a retail banking project in Warsaw. You will reconcile business and system requirements for products like personal and savings accounts, deposits, and cards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes bridging business and technical perspectives, documenting requirements, and supporting feasibility studies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in business/system analysis.
• Experience in banking/retail banking preferred.
• Ability to derive insights and actionable recommendations.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN, SQL.
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
• Fluent Polish language.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and reconcile business and system requirements and processes.

We are looking for a person with experience in business/system analysis to join a project in the retail banking sector. The person in this position will be responsible for analyzing and reconciling business and system requirements in projects related to products such as personal and savings accounts, deposits, and cards. We are looking for someone who can combine business and technical perspectives and collaborate freely with various teams.

Your tasks

• Analyzing and reconciling business and system requirements and processes
• Planning, conducting, and documenting meetings and analytical workshops
• Preparing and approving business and system requirements specifications
• Conducting feasibility studies for submitted requirements and changes
• Defining quality and acceptance criteria for changes, including developing test scenarios
• Estimating the complexity of requirements, including financial outlays and deadlines
• Developing and updating user instructions

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a business/system analysis role
• Experience in the banking or financial sector, preferably in retail banking
• Ability to analyze the effectiveness of completed tasks and formulate conclusions and recommendations for further actions
• Familiarity with tools and notations: Jira, Confluence, UML, BPMN, and SQL
• Knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Fluent in Polish
• Openness to hybrid work, 1–2 days a week from the office in Warsaw

Nice to have

• Familiarity with processes in the retail customer area (personal/savings accounts, deposits, cards)
