Vertage Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to transform complex data into actionable insights for client-facing strategy and operational efficiency.

You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards, integrate data from multiple sources via APIs, and automate reporting workflows to reduce manual effort. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 3 years of BI experience, with strong SQL/Python skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in BI, data analysis, or market research.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying.
• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, data modeling concepts, and diverse data sources.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with PMO to ensure timely production of monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.
• Complete complex ad-hoc reports for client requests.
• Learn and apply use of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) like Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and Coupa.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to deliver insights guiding client decisions.
• Maintain and update team tools and documentation for accuracy.
• Stay informed on industry trends and benchmarks to provide quarterly analysis.
• Design and enhance client-facing Power BI dashboards with API integrations.
• Manage and update client-facing Power Pages for current content.
• Design and implement automation for client production reports to reduce manual work.
• Create rate cards for new clients and run market rate analyses.

Main purpose of role

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support client-facing strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. This role ensures accurate client-facing analytics, maintains analytical tools, and drives data-driven improvements across client and internal initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with program management office to ensure the accurate and timely production of monthly, quarterly, and annual client reports.

• Complete complex ad-hoc reports to support client requests.

• Learn and apply effective use of Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as Fieldglass, Beeline, VNDLY, and Coupa, including report preparation and data utilization.

• Analyze data from multiple sources to deliver meaningful insights, recommendations, and conclusions that drive client’s business decisions.

• Maintain and update team tools and documentation to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.

• Stay informed on industry trends and customer benchmarks to provide relevant analysis on a quarterly basis within assigned verticals.

• Design and enhance client-facing Power BI dashboards using API integrations to improve data visualization and accessibility.

• Manage and update client-facing Microsoft Power Pages to ensure current and accurate content.

• Design and implement automation for client production reports and related workflows to reduce manual effort.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics or Mathematics

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or market research roles.

• Proven hands-on experience with Power BI and SQL for data visualization and querying.

• Familiarity with data warehouse technologies, data modeling concepts, and working with diverse data sources and APIs.

• Preferred - At least 2 years of experience working with relational and multidimensional database schemas, including writing complex queries.
