Business Analyst - Insurance Domain (Guidewire Expertise)

Location: Wrocław / Katowice – 2 days in office / 3 days remote

Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in the Insurance domain and hands‑on knowledge of the Guidewire framework.

Your key responsibilities

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather functional requirements, analyze business needs, and guide customers toward optimal solutions. A key responsibility is to maximize the use of Guidewire's out‑of‑the‑box functionalities while minimizing customizations, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective implementations.

Skills and attributes for success
  • Strong knowledge of Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
  • Excellent understanding of insurance processes and workflows.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and guide decisions toward optimal solutions.
To qualify for the role
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Insurance domain.
  • Proven ability to gather and document functional requirements and translate them into actionable deliverables.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ideally, you'll also have
  • Guidewire Certification (Business Analyst or similar).
  • Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and third‑party systems in insurance.
