Job summary

Expereo International in Katowice, Poland, is hiring a Billing Specialist within the Finance team. The role centers on accurate monthly invoicing, resolving invoice disputes, uploading invoices to portals, and delivering high-quality customer service with limited supervision.

The ideal candidate has a university degree, 2+ years in billing, and strong English skills (C1). Experience with Salesforce, Excel, and Dynamics D365 is a plus in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• High/proficient written and verbal communication skills in English (min. C1)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in billing is desired
• Customer service experience min. 1 year
• Strong computer skills
• Intermediate knowledge in Excel
• SalesForce or other ticketing system experience is advantage
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and great follow-up and follow-through skills
• Knowledge of Dynamics D365 is preferable
• Ability to work with limited supervision and apply analytical thinking
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing business needs
• Experience in Shared Service Center environment is advantage

Responsibilities

• Process monthly invoices
• Review invoices before posting to ensure accurate billing of customers
• Review credit requests and process them in the system
• Research and resolve invoice disputes and issues
• Coordinate high volume of customer invoice activity with various departments
• Apply business logic to properly categorize a billing issue and resolve them in cooperation with appropriate internal and external parties.
• Analyse, review, and determine the root cause of an upload issue and report significant issues delaying the online upload
• Monitor billing status of uploaded invoices on portals and resolve any rejections
• Build and maintain effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders
• Provide regular updates to management
• Participate in internal and external meetings with various stakeholders
• May assist with training of new team members
• May perform other billing/invoicing task as required

The Role

Billing Specialist role is one of Finance’s main customer facing positions which supports Accounts Receivable function. The role aims at accurate monthly billing of Expereo customers, resolves queries related to invoice disputes, uploading invoices to online portals, and maintain high quality of customer service. Billing Specialist role should exhibit professionalism and trustworthiness, very good communication skills, as well as an ability to work with limited supervision.
