Job summary
Sii Poland seeks an automation engineer to develop and commission Beckhoff PLC-based control systems for transport, material handling, and assembly projects in manufacturing and logistics. The role emphasizes reliability and precision, with responsibilities spanning programming, testing, and on-site commissioning.
You will work with TwinCAT 3, support FAT/SAT activities, and collaborate with a robot programming team.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of Beckhoff PLC programming experience.
- Higher technical education in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics or related field.
- Experience in TwinCAT 3 programming.
- Willingness to travel ~60% to Germany.
- English at B2 level; fluent Polish required.
Responsibilities
- Programming PLC drivers (Beckhoff) in TwinCAT 3.
- Development and modification of PLC software.
- Support in commissioning machines and systems.
- Debugging and troubleshooting automation systems.
- Integration and testing of machine functions.
- Support during FAT/SAT activities.
- Commissioning systems on-site in Berlin; potential support near Dresden.
- Collaborate with robot programming team; create technical documentation and software updates.
