Job summary

Jit is seeking a Business Continuity & Crisis Management Specialist to strengthen the operational resilience of a major financial services project in Poland. You will design desktop testing, develop scenario-driven exercises, and facilitate workshops with stakeholders across units.

You will validate crisis and recovery plans, track actions, and coordinate end-to-end logistics while engaging senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Operational Resilience or a related discipline
• 1–2 years of experience in testing, exercising or technical recovery planning
• Professional experience within the financial services industry such as banking or insurance
• Good understanding of how large financial organisations operate and manage technology and operational dependencies
• Strong knowledge of BC/CM frameworks, methodologies and best practices
• Excellent workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to engage with senior leadership and drive productive discussions

Responsibilities

• Design and plan desktop testing exercises aligned with CCS objectives and regulatory expectations for banking operations
• Develop realistic, MVB-grounded scenarios to evaluate manual recovery procedures and interdependencies across business functions
• Facilitate and host exercise workshops with key stakeholders across business units and support functions
• Validate existing crisis and recovery plans and identify operational gaps
• Manage end-to-end exercise logistics, including participant engagement, session timing, documentation and team coordination
• Develop reusable exercise materials, participant guides and facilitator notes
• Track and manage action items resulting from testing exercises
• Coordinate follow-up activities and provide updates to senior leadership and programme governance
• Document exercise outcomes, including findings, observations, gaps and recommendations
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Collaboration and Communication Services recovery capabilities
• Collaborate with Business Continuity and Crisis Management teams to ensure alignment between recovery plans and broader strategies
• Work from a Nordea location in Poland minimum 3 days per week if required
