Allegro Pay is seeking a Software Engineer 1 (.NET) to strengthen the core financial system that handles customer and loan data at a large scale. The role focuses on performance, scalability, and reliability, delivering new capabilities while aligning with business stakeholders in a hybrid Warsaw-based environment.

You will work with .NET backend development, PostgreSQL, and AI tools to improve efficiency and code quality daily, in a team that values ownership and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Experience with .NET backend development.
• Practical experience with SQL databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Fluent Polish for daily business communication; English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Improve performance, scalability and reliability of the core financial system.
• Design and deliver new capabilities; maintain and refactor code for quality and stability.
• Collaborate with Accounting and Controlling to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Drive ownership of features from design to deployment.
