Job summary

Bayer CropScience Limited in Warsaw is seeking a Security Monitoring Platform Developer (Azure Developer) to design, build, and maintain a custom security automation layer on top of the CDC Cyber Security Monitoring squad.

The role focuses on Azure-native pipelines, Threat intel integrations, and incident orchestration in Sentinel and ADX, with a strong emphasis on reliability and cross-team collaboration. Hybrid work in Poland is supported.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on development experience in Python, including Azure Functions, async processing, and API integrations.
• Experience with Azure PaaS services: Function Apps, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Key Vault, Event Hub, Application Insights.
• Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data serialization formats (STIX, MISP).
• Experience with SQL databases and data pipelines (Azure SQL, ADX).
• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, Terraform, and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of IT security, SIEM, and threat intelligence concepts.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Checkmail automation pipeline using Azure-native components.
• Implement MISP2Sentinel threat intel connector and IoC ingestion to Sentinel.
• Build SQL-based data replication pipelines across Azure SQL, ADX, and Sentinel.
• Design complex security incident handling logic in Microsoft Sentinel and SIEM workflows.
• Integrate external security APIs and services into the SIEM platform with error handling and retries.
• Follow IaC deployment processes via GitHub Actions, Terraform, and RBAC deployments.
• Ensure logging, monitoring, and alerting across all components.
• Document components and support handover within the RBAC deployment model.
