Job summary

Capgemini Polska is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design and implement Azure-based data solutions for large and unstructured datasets. You will leverage Azure Databricks, Data Factory, and Data Lake Gen2 to build scalable data pipelines, analytics and ML tasks, while collaborating with architects to enforce best practices.

You will contribute to modern DWH/Big Data projects on the Azure platform, perform migrations from on‑prem to cloud, and mentor junior engineers in Azure

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Big Data or Cloud projects handling large/unstructured data.
• Practical knowledge of Azure storage, compute, networking, and DevOps with project experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Azure certifications (DP-900/200/201, AZ-204, AZ-400) advantageous.
• Experience with Data Lake Gen2, Event Hub, Data Factory, DataBricks, Azure DWH, API Azure, Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing Azure Data solutions for large/unstructured datasets.
• Using Azure Databricks and other services for data processing, analytics and ML tasks.
• Collaborating with solution architects to promote data engineering best practices in Azure.
• Implementing and testing modern DWH/Big Data solutions on Azure with CI/CD.
• Migrations from on‑prem to public cloud; improve data processing efficiency.
• Mentoring junior data engineers in Azure technologies.
