Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to provide architecture leadership for cloud hosting with a primary focus on AWS. The role emphasizes AWS and Kubernetes expertise, with Azure experience and Polish language skills highly valued, plus strong English communication.

You will design and govern infrastructure solutions across the full lifecycle, ensure alignment with architecture standards and security, and collaborate with security teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations, and/or architecture.
• Strong experience designing and operating AWS environments.
• Solid Kubernetes architecture expertise.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience with Azure identity and enterprise integration would be highly valued.
• Polish language skills would be a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with TOGAF or similar frameworks and cloud/Kubernetes certifications welcome.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and review of AWS-hosted infrastructure solutions, including cloud networking and landing zone architecture.
• Collaborate on Azure integration for identity and enterprise connectivity.
• Own Kubernetes platform architecture: cluster infra, networking, ingress/egress, security, and observability.
• Create and maintain architecture documentation (C4 model, HLD/LLD), and promote reusable patterns.
• Participate in major incident and problem management; contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Apply DevOps mindset; familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and Terraform is advantageous.
