About Our Client

Mid-sized organisation operating within the healthcare industry, focused on using technology to improve healthcare solutions.

Job Description
  • Build, configure, and maintain AWS infrastructure, including EC2, RDS/Aurora, S3, ECS, and VPC.
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and costs, implementing continuous improvements and optimizations.
  • Implement and maintain security policies, including IAM, KMS, security groups, and NACL configurations.
  • Automate deployments and infrastructure management using Terraform, Python/Bash, and IaC best practices.
  • Design and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Configure and manage cloud networking components (routing, internet gateways, subnets, etc.).
  • Prepare and maintain infrastructure and disaster recovery documentation.
The Successful Applicant
  • Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience working with AWS services in production environments.
  • Strong practical knowledge of core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, IAM, VPC, ECS.
  • Proficiency in scripting for automation (Python or Bash).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve performance, availability, and security issues.
  • AWS certification at Associate level or higher.
  • Independence, initiative, and willingness to explore new technologies.
  • Nice to have: experience with cloud cost optimisation tools (AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets).
  • Nice to have: familiarity with AWS security services such as CloudTrail, WAF, GuardDuty.
