Job summary

Lufthansa Systems Poland is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join a cross-functional team delivering OPS Data Delivery Platform. You will design, build and maintain data pipelines and data products for enterprise-scale analytics across the Lufthansa Group.

You will work with Azure Databricks, PySpark and cloud-native services in a hybrid model with two days in Gdańsk, collaborating with international engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Solid hands-on data engineering experience with Python and cloud platforms.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks and data pipelines.
• Familiar with CI/CD and API development practices.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines, data products and data streaming.
• Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, integration and delivery processes.
• Develop and maintain APIs and integrations for data exchange and consumption.
• Gather, clarify and refine technical and business requirements.
• Analyze complex data scenarios and implement solutions based on business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with data providers, business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployment automation and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
• Support production environments and resolve technical issues, with operational support accounting for approximately 10–15% of your time.
• Work in an Agile international environment, using Jira.
