Job summary

A global logistics provider is seeking an Automation Developer to join their Digital Enablement Team in Gdansk, Poland. You will design and maintain automation solutions primarily using Microsoft Power Platform and Azure. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in automation development, a solid understanding of Power Automate, and hands-on knowledge of .NET and Azure services. Position Overview

As an Automation Developer in our Digital Enablement Team, you will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions built primarily within the Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystem. You’ll drive best practices and governance standards, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable automation. Your role will combine hands‑on technical development with proactive collaboration—helping translate business needs into effective digital solutions. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, you will contribute to the development life cycle, ensuring efficient and reliable automations that align with Blue Water’s requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and optimize automation solutions across Power Platform and Azure.
  • Develop custom connectors, integrations, and backend logic using .NET (preferably .NET 8).
  • Support and maintain automation governance frameworks and standards.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross‑functional teams in an Agile setup.
  • Troubleshoot and enhance existing solutions, ensuring stability and performance.
  • Explore and apply emerging technologies and AI capabilities to streamline processes.
  • If interested, help us maintain and develop our internal chatbot platform.
Your Background
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–4 years of experience in software, automation development or a similar role.
  • Solid understanding of Power Automate, Model‑driven Apps, and Canvas Apps.
  • Hands‑on experience with .NET / C# development.
  • Working knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, App Service, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset with a focus on quality and scalability.
  • Proactive attitude and readiness to work both independently and as part of a distributed team.

Practical Details

Blue Water Shipping is headquartered in Esbjerg, Denmark, and our IT development teams are in Esbjerg and Gdansk. The primary location for this role is the Blue Water Shipping’s office in Gdansk, Poland. There will be occasional travel to Esbjerg in Denmark or Warsaw in relation to PI planning and yearly department meetings.
