Assurance Business Partner with German

Location: Wrocław - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

As part of our EY Assurance Team, the job holder will be required to proactively build relationships with EY's German audit teams as well as the German Assurance Business Partner team and support them in the planning and execution of their engagements in German language.

The opportunity

We are looking for a team member in the Assurance Business Partner team starting as soon as possible. This will be an opportunity to work with EY GDS Assurance practices globally and be integrated in the German Assurance Business Partner team locally. The Assurance Business Partner plays a key role in service quality by providing administrative and operations support for Engagements (projects) to client facing teams. Working with us you will have an opportunity to be a part of a market-leading, multi-disciplinary team in the only integrated global assurance business worldwide.

Your key responsibilities

• Participation in the planning, organization, coordination and reporting of audits in an international environment.
• Close work with Engagement Executives, Engagement teams and various internal departments and other stakeholders.
• Being the main point of contact for the Engagement Managers and advising them on all Engagement related administrative and operational tasks.
• Support the engagement acceptance and independence process.
• Participation in the planning of the use of digital auditing tools.
• Accurate identifying problems, exceptions and ensuring that Engagement Managers are informed about them in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with audit teams by practicing open and honest communication.
• Proactively reaching out to the teams soliciting feedback for the work and taking appropriate action.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• The ability to communicate very well in written and spoken German (C1 level at least) is a must.

Ideally, you’ll also have
