Job summary

OANDA Poland sp. z o.o. is hiring an Associate Full Stack Engineer to join our international scrum team in Kraków. You will work with React.js, Python (FastAPI), and Google Cloud Platform to build onboarding experiences and trading-related features.

In this hybrid role, you will write reusable code, analyze problems, and leverage AI tools to speed development. You will also automate tests, debug issues, document work, and contribute to a robust, scalable platform used by clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with React.js and Python (FastAPI).
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in debugging and analyzing logs to troubleshoot issues.
• Understanding of system architecture, DDD, and software engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean code).
• Experience with GIT.
• Bonus points for automated testing suites, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS/Azure), and IaC (Terraform).

How do we work?

We are an international scrum team of software engineers, working with React.js, FastAPI, and Google Cloud Platform. We focus on continuous improvement, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and good understanding of system architecture. We build applications that are used by our clients to complete the registration process for a seamless onboarding experience. We work in a hybrid model in Cracow, Zabłocie.

As an Associate Full Stack Engineer, you will:

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code, independently analyze problems and develop creative solutions, leverage AI tools to speed up development and automate processes, keep test framework code clean and scalable, automate regression test cases and assist in troubleshooting test automation issues, manually test applications, create and maintain documentation where necessary.

What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:

• Minimum 1 year of experience with React.js and Python (FastAPI)
• Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS
• Proactive attitude with strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Hands‑on experience in debugging and analyzing logs to troubleshoot issues
• Understanding of system architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and software engineering best practices (SOLID, Clean code, etc.)
• Experience with GIT
• Bonus points if you have experience with: Automated testing suites, GCP or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), Infrastructure as a code (IaC, for instance terraform etc.)
