Job summary

Politechnika Rzeszowska (The Rzeszow University of Technology) invites applications for a fixed-term position in environmental engineering, mining and energy, or physical sciences. The successful candidate will lead research projects and collaborate across disciplines, with emphasis on photovoltaics, nanotechnology, and semiconductor technologies.

Proficiency in Polish and English is required, with a strong publication record and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Hold at least a postdoctoral (habilitation) degree in environmental engineering, mining and energy, or physical sciences.
• Provide evidence, through scientific publications, of the use of advanced research methods (e.g. Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDS, AFM, SIMS, GDS, ellipsometry and comprehensive measurements of photovoltaic parameters), including descriptions of the techniques applied and analysis of the results.
• Participate in European programmes or international research networks and have a track record of conference presentations, including plenary or invited lectures, both in Poland and abroad.
• Have experience in leading research and development projects funded through national or European competitive calls, involving advanced research on photovoltaics, thin-film materials and environmental durability.
• Meet the requirements specified in the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science and in the Statute of the Rzeszów University of Technology.
• Knowledge of Polish language at native level and knowledge of English at a good level.
