The role provides leadership, managerial and technical direction to drive quality and timely data deliverables across clinical studies.

The candidate will manage managers, plan resources, monitor performance, and drive process improvements while aligning with sponsor requirements and industry standards.

Qualifikationen

• 12+ years of experience in clinical data management or a related role within pharma/biotech/medical devices.
• 6–8 years of line management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline.

Aufgaben

• Oversee the management team to ensure compliance with SOPs on assigned project and budget oversight.
• Provide line management for the assigned management team.
• Define and monitor objectives for assigned Managers, ensuring opportunities for development.
• Contribute to the strategic management of the department.
• Oversee resourcing for the assigned team with proactive allocation.
• Oversee departmental quality and issue management with trend analysis and strategic solutions.
• Manage department project deliverables with status reviews and mitigation plans.
• Monitor project profitability and overburn/underburn for department projects.
• Oversee SMEs to ensure effective process oversight.
• Provide departmental oversight of projects and support on planning, risks, and mitigations.
• Develop and implement department SOPs.
• Lead development of new process improvement and efficiency initiatives.
