The Rector of the Jerzy Kukuczka Academy of Physical Education in Katowice announces a competition (ref. no. AWF/20/2026) for the position of: ASSISTANT in the group of teaching staff at the Department of Biomechanics, Chair of Human Motor Behavior
Faculty of Physical Education

The competition is open to individuals who meet the requirements specified in Article 113 of the Act of July 20, 2018 – Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws 2024, item 1571, as amended).

DUTIES:

• developing course syllabi and materials for practical classes
• delivering teaching activities implemented within the unit
• undertaking organizational duties associated and scientific activities.

Skills/Qualifications

• a Master's degree (magister) in physics, mathematics, engineering, physiotherapy, or physical education

• a developed concept of one's own teaching and organizational work.

An additional criterion for candidate selection is obtaining a positive opinion from the Head of the Chair regarding substantive qualifications as well as other predispositions and skills indicating the candidate's suitability for teaching work in the given unit.

• gross basic salary: PLN 5,075.00
• seniority allowance: from 0% to 20% of the basic salary (the amount depends on the confirmed period of employment)
