Job summary

NIRAS in Poland is seeking a Structural Designer Assistant to join our multidisciplinary engineering team. You will translate concepts into detailed models and drawings for steel and reinforced concrete structures in industrial facilities.

You'll prepare 3D models and documentation using Advance Steel and Revit, collaborate across design teams, and adapt to project deadlines. The role offers stable employment, flexible hours, and opportunities to develop expertise in complex industrial projects

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in construction.
• Experience in designing steel structures for industrial construction (minimum 1 year).
• Practical knowledge of Advance Steel and/or Revit.
• Experience using CAD in a 3D environment.
• Basic knowledge of calculating and designing steel structures based on Eurocodes.

Your new workday will include:

• Developing designs for steel and reinforced concrete structures for industrial buildings and installations;
• Preparing models and drawings documentation for reinforced concrete and steel;

We are looking for applicants who have:

• Higher technical education in construction;
• Experience in designing steel structures for industrial construction (minimum 1 year);
• Practical knowledge of Advance Steel and/or Revit;
• Experience using CAD in a 3D environment;
• Basic knowledge of calculating and designing steel structures based on Eurocodes;
• Ability to work effectively in a team and under time pressure;
• Fluent in Polish and English at a minimum B2 level;
• Diligence in performing assigned tasks;
