Job summary

Cracow University of Technology seeks an Assistant Professor (F/M) in the Chair of Transportation and Logistics Systems to teach practical classes and supervise student projects in transport and logistics. The candidate will develop modern teaching materials and participate in research projects within the chair’s scope.

Requirements include a PhD in civil engineering or related fields, English proficiency at B2 or higher, and fluent Polish.

Qualifications

PhD in civil engineering, geodesy or transport, or related discipline matching the position profile.
Significant professional achievements or professional practice.
Documented knowledge of English at minimum B2 level.
Documented teaching, scientific, organisational or professional achievements related to transport/logistics.
Willingness to indicate Cracow University of Technology as primary employment place.
Fluent command of Polish, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

Conduct teaching classes (practical, laboratory, projects) in transport and logistics.
Prepare and improve teaching materials and modern teaching methods.
Supervise student projects and support student research clubs in transport and logistics.
Participate in scientific activity including preparing publications and research projects.
Engage in organisational work of the Chair and Faculty, promote the Transport and Logistics degree.
