Offer Description

• Place of employment: Department of Fundamentals of Computer Science, Faculty of Computer Science
• Working time: Full-time employment at Gdynia Maritime University, which shall constitute the employee's primary place of employment.

Requirements

Research Field Computer science » Informatics Education Level PhD or equivalent

Specific Requirements

• A higher education degree, with completed first-cycle and second-cycle studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or another technical field, and a PhD degree in Technical Sciences in the discipline of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and Telecommunications.
• Experience enabling the candidate to conduct teaching in the following areas: algorithms and algorithmics, machine computations, databases, Internet and mobile technologies, programming, and programming languages.
• Knowledge of the Polish language at a level enabling the candidate to conduct classes and lectures in Polish.
• Knowledge of English at a level enabling active participation in research and development activities carried out in an international environment.
• Aptitude for scientific research and teaching students.
• Previous teaching experience will be considered an additional advantage.
• Experience in research and academic work, as well as a scientific track record, will be considered an additional advantage.
