Applicants must pass the requirements specified in article 113 of the Act of 20 July 2018 - Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and § 60(4) of the Statute of Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Małopolska in Oświęcimand must meet the following requirements:

The candidate must:

• hold a Master's degree in dietetics or a Master's degree in Food Technology and Human Nutrition, specializing in Human Nutrition and Dietetics;
• have professional experience in dietary counselling and psychodietetics;
• demonstrate full professional proficiency in spoken and written Polish.

Preference will be given to:

• preference will be given to candidates for whom MUP will constitute the primary place of employment;
• preference will be given to candidates open to training and continuous skills development ;
• preference will be given to candidates organizational achievements.

Required documents:

• an application for admission to the post referring to the number of the competition to which the application relates and indicating clearly the field of science and scientific discipline and the Institute in which the competition is open, with the stipulation that each competition requires a separate application;
• a personal questionnaire for the applicant;
• documents confirming the professional qualifications required for the position, including the right to practise the profession, if required for the position;
• documents confirming the candidate's (M/F) achievements (photocopies of diplomas granting academic degrees and titles);
• career history (professional curriculum vitae), specifying scientific (including publications), teaching and organisational achievements - depending on the type of position (self-report characterising scientific and teaching achievements);
• a declaration concerning legal capacity, the exercise of public rights and clear criminal record - annex 1 to the competition notice;
• a declaration concerning a choice of the university as the primary or secondary place of work - annex 2 to the competition notice;
• in the case of providing personal data in a broader scope than that resulting from Article 22¹ § 1 of the Labour Code (i.e. in the case of including additional personal data beyond those legally required) - a declaration of consent to the processing of personal data beyond those legally required included in the application documents for the purposes of the recruitment process - annex 3 to the competition notice.

Attachments to the information about the competition comply with Ordinance No 10/2025 of 17 February 2025 of the Rector of Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Malopolska in Oświęcim on the introduction of Principles and procedures of conducting competitions for the employment of academic staff at Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Malopolska in Oświęcim as amended.

Pursuant to Article 183ca §§ 1 and 2 of the Labour Code and § 8 of Chapter III of the Remuneration Regulations of Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Małopolska in Oświęcim (hereinafter referred to as the “Regulations”), we hereby inform that the employee is entitled to:

• Basic salary in the initial amount of 5166 PLN gross.
• Length-of-service allowance in the amount of 1% of the basic salary for each year of employment, payable from the fourth year of employment, up to a maximum of 20% of the basic salary, in accordance with § 10 of Chapter III of the Regulations.
• Functional allowance in an amount not exceeding 67% of the minimum basic salary for a professor (professor) at a public higher education institution, in accordance with § 11 of Chapter III of the Regulations and Appendices No. 3 and 4 to the Regulations – applicable in the case of holding a managerial or functional position.
• Task-based allowance in an amount not exceeding 80% of the sum of the employee’s basic salary and functional allowance, granted by decision of the Rector, in accordance with § 15 of Chapter III of the Regulations.
• Rector’s Award (discretionary) in an amount not exceeding the employee’s one-month salary for the month immediately preceding the award, and in exceptional cases – the total salary for the three months immediately preceding the award, granted by decision of the Rector, in accordance with § 17 of Chapter III of the Regulations.
• Internship coordination allowance, determined as a fraction of the minimum monthly salary rate of an assistant (asystent), depending on the number of students undertaking internships and the assigned value thereof, in accordance with § 18 of Chapter III of the Regulations and Appendix No. 1 to the Regulations – applicable when coordinating internships.
• Recruitment allowance, determined as the product of the number of individuals participating in the recruitment process and the amount specified in the Rector’s ordinance, in accordance with § 19 of Chapter III of the Regulations – applicable in the case of appointment to a recruitment committee.
• Special allowance in an amount not exceeding 80% of the sum of the employee’s basic salary and functional allowance, granted by decision of the Rector, in accordance with § 20 of Chapter III of the Regulations.
• Long-service (jubilee) award in an amount ranging from 75% to 400% of the monthly salary, depending on the length of service, in accordance with § 22 of Chapter IV of the Regulations.

Pursuant to § 7 of the Regulations “RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR CONDUCTING COMPETITIONS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT OF ACADEMIC TEACHERS”. The Selection Board may decide to require an interview, to which candidates who have met the initial formal criteria are invited."

Cavalry Captain Witold Pilecki State University of Małopolska in Oświęcim reserves the right not to employ the winner of the competition.

At the end of the recruitment process, all the application documents that do not contain consent for the processing of personal data for future recruitment will be destroyed after a period of one month, counting from the date of completion of the recruitment process.
