Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an Architect and/or Technical Lead to contribute to various technical streams of Insurance implementation projects.
  • Help build Insurance competency in Poland and the EMEIA region.
  • Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators and the Client’s technical stakeholders.
  • Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team.
  • Mentor the project team in executing assigned projects.

As an Architect in Insurance Consulting, you will participate in various streams of Insurance projects, collaborate with agile team members to achieve project and client goals, and be part of Business Transformations. We are looking for passionate developers willing to move our projects onto a new track! You will use the most advanced technology stack and have opportunities to implement new solutions while working with top industry leaders. As part of our global team, you will participate in international projects based on the latest data technologies and cloud platforms. Additionally, you will play a significant role in building and expanding Insurance competency by working with our international Insurance team on sales, business development, and hiring opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

  • Serve as an Architect and/or Technical Lead to contribute to various technical streams of Insurance implementation projects.
  • Help build Insurance competency in Poland and the EMEIA region.
  • Interface and communicate with onsite coordinators and the Client’s technical stakeholders.
  • Plan and monitor project deliverables from the team.
  • Mentor the project team in executing assigned projects.
  • Willing to travel to customer locations as needed.
  • Participate in organization-wide people initiatives.
  • Support sales activities.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or other technical qualifications.
  • Hands-on experience in the Insurance domain.
  • Expertise in core technical skills: Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Microservices, Web Services (Rest & SOAP), Apache Camel - CXF, Kafka.
  • Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Ability to design solutions for external integrations.
  • Understanding of Core Insurance architecture, administration, configuration, and data structures.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 10+ years in a corporate IT environment.
  • 5+ years in a similar position.
  • Excellent business communication skills.
  • Architectural certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP Architect level, TOGAF, ArchiMate, or others.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Certifications in Java, Spring, SQL, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Angular, React.
  • Business certificates demonstrating Insurance domain knowledge.
  • Experience with agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Language skills in German, French, or Spanish are a plus.
