Job summary

Accuris is seeking an Application Security Engineer to lead the security program for our application development lifecycle. You will manage vulnerability reports from multiple tools, prioritize remediation with development teams, and contribute to security training and compliance initiatives.

The role reports to the Head of Application Security and requires hands-on security engineering experience, strong collaboration skills, and a proactive approach to securing software in development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3–5 years minimum experience in application security or related role.
• Strong understanding of security principles, practices and technologies.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage vulnerability reports from various security tools and platforms.
• Analyze and triage vulnerabilities to assess risk and impact.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
• Track and report on the status of vulnerability remediation efforts.
