Job summary

Bibby Financial Services Poland is seeking an Application Manager to join the Core Applications team in the IT Department. The role covers service provision, incident and change management, and vendor coordination for core applications, mainly supporting the Germany EF3 application.

You will work to ensure applications and integrations deliver business value, with involvement in broader IT and transformation initiatives across the BFS estate.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an IT Application Management role or equivalent IT knowledge and education.
• Experience in Financial Services or a regulated environment is desirable.
• Proficient in German.
• ITIL Foundation Certificate (not essential) or experience with ITIL practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good business and systems understanding with attention to detail.
• Confident decision-making and influencing skills.
• Proficient IT skills including Excel, Word and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Respond to escalated incidents and troubleshoot with required parties through Incident Management.
• Identify issue trends and propose solutions to prevent future business impact in Problem Management.
• Manage defects with Vendor and ensure prioritisation by business users.
• Coordinate updates, upgrades, vulnerability patching, and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure application compliance with BFS policies and IT general controls.
• Deliver changes per Change Management policies with testing and risk assessment.
• Contribute to design and transformation processes to assess application impacts.
• Work with Application Owners to meet current and future business needs and maximise value.
• Build and maintain stakeholder groups for effective application management.
• Collaborate with IT to share knowledge and maintain a central Configuration Management Information base.
