Job summary

RED Global is seeking an API Integration Expert for a remote, short-term assignment starting ASAP (October). You will help the client define governance, create policies, and safeguard layers for API deployment while improving lifecycle processes.

The role collaborates with Enterprise Architecture and includes delivering trainings and workshops. The ideal candidate has strong API integration/management background, experience as an API Architect, and fluency in English.

API Integration Expert - 2+ months - Remote- ASAP Start

For our international client, we are currently looking for an experienced API integration Expert.

Your main task is to support the client in the creation of policies and governance layers for the API deployment.

Tasks

• Act as API integration Expert
• Define and support integration governance, reviews and compliance processes (incl. automation of those processes)
• Create policies, governance and safeguard layers for deployment of all APIs
• Improve existing API and integration lifecycle processes
• Create API-first design guidelines, standards and best practices
• Improve API catalogue quality, documentation, metadata and reuse
• Create and deliver trainings and workshops
• Promote reusable, secure and scalable APIs together with Community of Practice
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team

Requirements

• Strong project experience with API integration/API management
• Previous background as API/integration Architect
• Project experience in enterprise integration and integration architecture
• Strong knowledge of API-first design, REST/OpenAPI, OData and modern integration patterns
• Experience with different integration tools/management platforms (.g., Azure API Management, MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite)
• Previous experience in setting up API policies and governance
• Knowledge of SAP integration, SaaS integration patterns and integration governance
• Experience with developing and delivering API-first training
• Stakeholder management
• Project experience in international projects for European businesses
• Fluency in English
