TripAdvisor LLC in Kraków is looking for a Software Engineer II - Android to join our fast-growing Experiences Engineering team. This role is open to candidates who can work remotely with periodic in-person gatherings at the Kraków office, and is not offered as a B2B contract.

You'll work with Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose and GraphQL, contribute end-to-end on features, and collaborate with product and design teams to ship high-quality deliverables across mobile and backend services.

Qualifications

• Experience of developing an Android app and familiarity with mobile web and back-end technologies would be beneficial.
• 2-8 years’ experience of commercial software development
• Experience with reactive programming in native mobile platforms
• Ability to take on new technologies
• High quality verbal and written communication skills
• Sense of ownership and pride in your work

Responsibilities

• Touch code at every level – while the focus is app development, you’ll also have opportunities to work on backend microservices
• Collaborate closely with Product and design teams to define feature specifications and develop high quality deliverables for our customers
