Job summary

Tieto Banktech is seeking an Android Developer to join an international team that includes colleagues in Norway, Poland and Ukraine. You will build and improve mobile banking solutions with native Android development, focusing on user-friendly experiences and robust integrations.

You will collaborate with designers, backend developers and product managers in a hybrid work setting, contributing to engineering standards and agile processes while ensuring secure, scalable delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience building modern, responsive Android UIs with Jetpack Compose.
• Strong Kotlin skills for clean, maintainable code and testing.
• Familiarity with Gradle builds, DI, and Android architecture patterns.

Responsibilities

You will join Front&Advisory, where we deliver user-friendly self-service solutions, including mobile and online banking, bank administration solutions and modern Open Banking APIs. • Jetpack Compose - experience building modern, responsive user interfaces
• Kotlin - ability to write clean, maintainable and testable code
• Gradle - experience managing builds efficiently and reliably
• Git and GitHub - experience with version control, collaboration and code reviews
• CI/CD pipelines - experience with GitHub Actions or similar tools for automated testing and deployment
• Dependency injection - understanding of DI principles and how to build scalable, testable code
• Modern Android architecture - experience with recommended patterns and practices for robust, maintainable applications
• Android testing - experience writing and maintaining unit tests and UI tests
• Security and privacy - awareness of best practices for sensitive data, permissions and secure storage
• Accessibility and localisation - experience designing inclusive applications for multiple languages and regions
• Language skills - you are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing

• Kotlin Multiplatform experience - sharing code across platforms
• Swift and Xcode experience - cross-platform development experience is an advantage
