Job summary

ALTEN Polska is seeking an Instrumentation Engineer to design and engineer analytical systems for Oil & Gas projects. You will prepare requisitions, manage vendor documentation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

You will collaborate with international teams and support FATs and inspections. Requirements include a master's degree in automation or process control, strong analytics experience, SPI/SP3D proficiency, AutoCAD, and fluent English and Polish.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Automation, Process Control Engineering, or related discipline.
Proven experience in process analytics within Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or related process industries.
Experience designing and engineering analytical systems, including sampling and analyzer integration.
Strong knowledge of process analyzers (online, in-situ, gas chromatographs, mass spectrometers, IR, pH/conductivity, etc.).
Experience working for a plant engineering company as an Instrumentation Engineer.
Proficiency in Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI).
Basic knowledge of SP3D.
Good working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
Ability to work independently on proposals and project execution.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Polish.

Responsibilities

Prepare and coordinate technical requisitions for analyzer packages.
Manage bidding processes, purchase orders, and review vendor documentation and drawings.
Verify project documentation for completeness and compliance with standards and regulations.
Design and engineer analytical systems for Oil & Gas and petrochemical projects.
Prepare instrumentation design concepts based on schedules and DSs.
Specify sampling systems and analyzer integration.
Prepare analyzer hookups and data sheets for analyzers and houses.
Support inspections and FATs for analyzer systems.
Collaborate with R&D to develop innovative analytical solutions.
Contribute to internal standards and work in international teams.
