Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Proven experience in SysAdmin/DevOps or similar engineering role.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP is necessary.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and microservice container orchestration concepts.
• Understanding of networking basics.
• Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support a growing group of various databases.
• Design and develop database infrastructure to perform 24x7.
• Be responsible for maintaining 24x7 performing databases.
• Maintain servers and work on smart routing, balancing, and security features.
• Collaborate to improve build, integration, and release processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in different environments.
• Analyze systems and initiate improvements.
• Create and update platform documentation.
• Evaluate all processes for service improvements.
• Welcome new ideas and projects.
