Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an AI Platform Engineering & Operations Manager to lead the global Engineering & Operations for the enterprise AI Platform, guiding architecture, integration, and reliable cloud-based services.

You will drive platform reliability, scalability, and security while spearheading DevOps, MLOps, and AIOps initiatives across a worldwide organization. This role demands strong leadership and deep cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cloud platforms, solution architecture, or enterprise operations.
• Proven leadership managing global platform teams.
• Experience with PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and cloud-native services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure technologies and AI platforms.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and model governance.
• Track record delivering secure, scalable, high-availability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the solution architecture, engineering, integration, operations, and long-term evolution of the enterprise AI Platform.
• Establish and govern platform architecture principles, technology standards, integration patterns, and operational frameworks.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle and operational accountability of platform services, capabilities, and model ecosystems.
• Drive platform reliability, scalability, performance, resilience, and operational excellence across a global environment.
• Champion automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and modern engineering practices for efficient operations.
• Define and enforce platform security, governance, access control, and compliance standards in partnership with stakeholders.
• Lead the adoption of DevOps, MLOps, LLMOps, and AIOps capabilities to enable secure AI delivery.
• Oversee service management, incident response, change governance, release management, and operational risk mitigation.
• Build, lead, and develop a global organization spanning architecture, cloud engineering, integration, and operations.

AI Platform Engineering & Operations Manager

Lead the global Engineering & Operations area for Hitachi Energy’s enterprise AI Platform, driving the design, integration, and operation of secure, scalable cloud-based services. Lead multidisciplinary teams across solution architecture, infrastructure, automation, and operations to ensure reliable platform delivery, technical governance, and seamless integration of AI capabilities across the enterprise.

• Partner with senior business, technology, cybersecurity, and vendor stakeholders to shape platform strategy, accelerate innovation, and continuously enhance enterprise AI capabilities.

Your background

• 10+ years of experience in cloud platforms, solution architecture, platform engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing global platform architecture, integration, infrastructure, or operations teams.
• Strong expertise in designing and operating enterprise platforms leveraging PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, APIs, and cloud-native services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure technologies, AI platforms, API management, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and observability solutions.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, model lifecycle management, AI workload operations, and runtime governance.
• Proven track record of operating business-critical platforms with high standards for security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Experience defining platform standards, integration patterns, service governance, operational controls, and lifecycle management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and team development skills, with the ability to build high-performing organizations and drive strategic outcomes.
