Job summary

Sii is seeking an AI Engineer to design and implement production-grade LLM-based systems for a regulated healthcare/data-driven marketing project. You will lead LLM integrations, vector-data workflows, and RAG pipelines while collaborating with Data Science to productionize models.

The role emphasizes Python excellence, distributed data pipelines, and evaluating open-source and OpenAI models. Hybrid work from Poland is available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial software/AI experience.
• Strong Python and solid software engineering practice.
• Hands-on with LLM frameworks and vector databases.
• Experience building RAG pipelines with unstructured data.
• SQL and cloud-based data systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver production-grade AI systems based on LLMs.
• Build and maintain data pipelines for retrieval and evaluation.
• Implement frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex.
• Develop RAG pipelines and optimize embeddings and retrieval.
• Integrate OpenAI and open-source LLMs; support model selection decisions.
• Collaborate with Data Science to productionize ML models.
• Build evaluation frameworks and monitor system performance.
• Create scalable AI infrastructure in a cloud environment.
