Job summary

Robotec.ai is seeking a Mid or Senior AI Engineer to help integrate AI methods into robotics pipelines and simulations. You will explore modern ML techniques and develop AI models within our robotics platforms, bridging research and production.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, work with PyTorch/Jax and vision/control pipelines, and contribute to open source and innovative AI-driven features.

Qualifications

• University degree in CS/ML/Robotics or related field.
• Strong knowledge of deep learning, CV, RL, and LLMs.
• Solid Python software engineering skills.
• Experience with AI model training, evaluation, deployment.
• Experience with PyTorch/Jax, NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib.
• Experience with 2D/3D computer vision methods.
• Version control and collaboration tools (Git, GitHub, CI/CD).
• Excellent communication and teamwork; Fluent English (C1+).

Responsibilities

What you will do:

• Explore and apply modern machine learning techniques (RL, agentic AI, computer vision, synthetic data generation) to roboticsand simulationproblems
• Develop and integrate AI models into existing robotics pipelines
• Develop vision and control AI pipelines for robotics using different sensory data like RGB/RGBD cameras or lidar.
• Work withgenerative models, simulatedand real-world data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across robotics, simulation, 3D modeling, and software engineering
• Contribute to prototyping and development of new AI-driven features

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of Deep Learning concepts, especially Computer Vision, Reinforcement Learning andLarge Language Models (LLMs)
• Solid software engineering skills in Python
• Practical experience in AI model training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Practical experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries such asPyTorch,Jax,NumPy,Pandas, and Matplotlib
• Experience with2D or 3Dcomputer vision methods
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools (Git, GitHub, CI/CD)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluent English (C1level or higher), both written and spoken

Nice to haves:

• Experience in using robotic simulatorssuchasMuJoCo, Isaac Sim, or Genesis
• Experience with training and deployment of robotic control policies (e.g.Locomotion / VLAs)
• Experience with agentic AI systems
• Experience with model optimization and deployment on embedded platforms
• Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS2
• Programming experience in strongly typed languages (e.g., C++)
