Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Sheetmetal Mechanic to perform AVUM/AVIM and depot maintenance on AH-64 aircraft in Poland. The role involves assembling structural parts, repairing and modifying components, and ensuring adherence to technical data and safety standards.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years of aviation maintenance experience, ability to read technical data, and must obtain a NAC-I Public Trust; a valid passport is required for deployment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) or more years aviation maintenance experience on the AH-64.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain NAC-I T1 Public Trust; US Citizenship is required.
• Interim NACI required for deployment.
• Valid Passport is Required for deployment to Poland.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structural parts and components to meet requirements.
• Perform structural repair, modification and corrosion protection while maintaining strength and contour.
• Assemble repairs using special fasteners and adhesives.
• Ability to use jigs, fixtures, forms, and molds.
• Use metalworking equipment to form, cut, bend and fasten replacement parts.
• Inspect and troubleshoot to determine causes of malfunctions and repair as needed.
• Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
• Maintain and inspect tools and equipment.
• Input, validate, and analyze data processed to automated systems.
• Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
• Perform other duties as required.
