Job summary

Amentum is seeking an AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic AM-2 (Armament/Electrical Specialty) to troubleshoot and repair complex helicopter systems for military aviation. The role involves heavy involvement with AH-64D/E platforms, including assembly, modification, and verification of major assemblies and subsystems.

You will install, adjust, and align fuel, hydraulic, engine, and transmission systems, perform operational checks, and direct junior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
• Five (5) or more years aviation maintenance experience on the AH-64, preferably within the past five years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization (NACI T1 Public Trust). US Citizenship is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
• Interim NACI required for deployment.
• Valid Passport is Required for deployment to Poland.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, and related systems.
• Repair functions including assembly and modification on AH-64D/E aircraft and subsystems.
• Install and align fuselage parts and complete flight control systems; rig hydraulics, fuel, and transmission.
• Direct lower-graded mechanics and coordinate with related trades to ensure correct assembly sequence.
• Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
