Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking an experienced supplier quality and development expert in Poland to identify, assess, and develop new suppliers in support of aerospace commodity strategy.

You will guide onboarding, interpret technical requirements, and manage APQP/PPAP activities for product launches and transitions. Join a global team and lead multiple supplier projects, drive improvements through SPIP, and contribute to cost reduction while maintaining quality and delivery standards across Woodward's

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining supplier partnerships.
• Ability to interpret data to drive supplier development initiatives.
• Strong problem solving using engineering principles.
• Knowledge of quality standards across industrial and aerospace sectors.
• Experience with APQP and PPAP elements (PRR, MSA, FMEA).

Responsibilities

• Lead Global Sourcing supplier assessment activities.
• Collaborate with Sourcing/Quality/Engineering to close capability gaps.
• Ensure suppliers understand and meet technical requirements.
• Lead development plans with key suppliers for global strategies.
• Drive Supplier Performance Improvement Program (SPIP) to improve QDRC.
• Serve as escalation point for quality systems within commodity teams.
• Support cost-reduction activities through VAVE initiatives.
