Job summary

Woodward Inc. in Niepolomice, Poland, seeks an accomplished Director to lead Aerospace Operations and Site Integration at Krakow operations, aligning with global priorities, customer requirements, and AOP commitments.

You will drive cross-functional execution across Production, Purchasing, Test, Quality, and Automation with clear ownership, milestones, and performance metrics, shaping the Aero operating system locally.

Qualifications

• Experience leading across functions and organizational boundaries.
• Ability to translate strategy into executable local plans.
• Proven track record in multi-site product transfers and plant start-ups.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and supply-chain interfaces.
• Decision-making under time pressure with balance of key metrics.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a cohesive Aero strategy and execution plan for Krakow operation.
• Lead cross-functional execution across production, purchasing, test, operations, engineering, and quality with clear ownership and KPIs.
• Set local priorities, make timely trade-offs, and protect customer commitments and transition timing.
• Own transfer of work efforts, readiness reviews, risk mitigation, milestones, and stabilization with minimal customer impact.
• Establish and stabilize the Aero operating system within the Krakow plant and transition to standard routines.
