Summary

A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst - Navigation+ maintains safety‑critical records in Navblue’s aeronautical database supporting a variety of products for pilots and aviation companies based on the 28‑day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace. The analyst uses visual comparison and software tools to compare state‑published text and images with database records and update the database as required.

Responsibilities
  • Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the Navblue database.
  • Update records in the database in accordance with structured Navblue procedures, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues.
  • Adapt to changing requirements as reprioritised by senior team members.
  • Identify quality or non‑conformance issues, escalates appropriately and performs corrective actions with guidance.
