Summary

A NAVBLUE Aeronautical Analyst - Enroute Navigation+ is responsible for maintaining safety critical records in Navblue’s aeronautical database which supports a variety of products for pilots and companies in the aviation industry based on the 28‑day AIRAC cycle. Record types include aerodromes, runways, waypoints, coordinates, altitudes, airways, and airspace, etc. You will use visual comparison, as well as a variety of software, to compare state‑published text and images with database records and update the database as required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Compare text and images in new aeronautical publications with existing records in the Navblue database.
  • Update records in the database in accordance with structured Navblue procedures, as well as regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Using instruction and overarching guidelines, raise queries with aeronautical publication providers to clarify documents and resolve issues.
  • Work is reprioritised by senior members of the team, and the employee must be adaptable to these changing requirements.
  • Identify quality or non‑conformance issue(s), escalates appropriately and performs corrective actions (with guidance).

Qualified Experience/Skills/Training

Education:

  • Educated to ‘A’ Level or equivalent
  • Degree in aviation related field is an asset

Experience:

  • Experience working in companies in the aviation/corporate industry
  • Working knowledge of Aeronautical Information Services (AIS) publications is an asset

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English

Technical Systems Proficiency:

  • Google suite
  • Ability to learn bespoke software
