A global talent advisory firm in Kraków is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage accounts receivable and financial processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Finance/Accounting and be fluent in English and Polish (C1 level). Accountant – LHH Poland

As a part of LHH international this role will cover accounting tasks with focus on Accounts Receivable.

In this role you can expect to
  • Ready and maintain financial, business transactions and whole process related to billing of invoices and credit notes, regular reconciliation of AR accounts. There is the possibility of further development and exposure to other countries within Cluster
  • Perform weekly and monthly accrued revenue and outstanding invoices report
  • Perform rebates and deferred revenue calculation
  • Perform monthly/quarterly recharge invoices to intercompanies
  • Support in the yearly external & internal Audit
  • Maintain account receivables to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for and miscellaneous differences are cleared
  • Focus on cash collection: building relationship with customers to ensure the company receives payments timely
  • Work with business departments to ensure that the correct information is reflected in billing system, serving of business needs of internal and external customers
  • Consider the needs of internal and external controls, accurate reporting
  • Ensure the proficiency with the accounting system as the basis for billing and reporting and resolving any discrepancies
  • Perform month end close related tasks and activities, other ad-hoc tasks
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations providing necessary evidence/justifications for AR and Revenue related accounts
  • Providing support for other countries within Cluster
All About You
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Finance / Accounting
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or similar is preferred
  • Languages: English & Polish — fluent (min. C1)
  • Understanding of accounting software and programs
  • Working experience in an international environment is a plus
  • Inquisitive and proactive nature, “Can do” attitude and comfortable working autonomously.
